Snow Day
Yesterday the Arlington School District decided that the forecast for today's snowstorm was good enough to call for a snow day. I'm always shocked by the amount of snowdays or delays we end up with each year. Well, it has been great so far. We slept in (always nice), snuggled and watched movies, played boardgames, and Tyson even had a playdate. Zac and Tim have now headed for scouts and Tyson has given me suggestions of what the two of us can do for the rest of the evening: Snuggle, snuggle and watch a movie, or play a game (a little familiar to the earlier part of today but good all the same). Maybe we'll be able to do all three! Either way I'm just bragging up the fact that I have had the chance to hang out with my awesome boys today and I LOVE IT!

Books Galore
This coming semester I am taking a Shakespeare class and an Arthurian Legends class. I am pretty excited, however, when I went to the bookstore yesterday to buy books I was shocked to realize how much reading I'll be doing. I ended up leaving with 11 books (yes really ELEVEN) for just the two classes! WOW! Luckily, it should be interesting material...right???

Tuba Concert
November 29th we went to the All-Tuba Concert at Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. It was pretty fun. There were so many tubas. I expected a lot of sound, but it was quite mellow. They did a bunch of Christmas songs. I liked how shiny they were. You could make out the buildings in the reflection. I tried to take pictures of it. Afterward, we walked around Boston for awhile. The boys weren't too thrilled until we reached Downtown Crossing. They had closed off the streets and had a few fun activities for the kids. There was a carousel, a petting zoo, and Macy's Christmas windows to look at. It turned out to be an awesome day!

To the Moon and Back Again...
Well almost. I took my Astronomy final today! Hooray! It's done! What a class! There are still a few more days before I can breathe the big sigh of relief, but in the meantime, enjoy my amateur astrophotography skills. Me and my lab partner took these pictures of the moon during one of our nightlabs in November.
