7yr Tyson

Tyson is now seven years old! He celebrated with a lego birthday party. They each got to decorate their own lego-block cake. Make a wish!

Primary to be Past

Today was my final day as Primary President in my ward. I have been called to be the Stake YW secretary. I'm excited to hang with the YW but I am really going to miss being in Primary. I have grown to love all the kids tremendously! I have had the pleasure to serve with some AWESOME gals! Now that it's at the end I remembered to take a picture of us. Primary Rocks!

Sleepy Boy

In August we went to a service where four eight-year olds were being baptized. After the meeting, I realized Tyson was fast asleep on the bench. He looked so cute and peaceful, I just had to take a picture.

Girls Camp

I had the fun opportunity to be a counselor over the JCs (junior counselors) at our stake girls camp this summer. What a blast! Lots of talking, little sleep and tons of new friends!

Dude Where's My Car?

Yesterday, because I was running a bit behind schedule, I decided to drive to Tyson's school to pick him up. All was well. He found me and we played on the playground for a while, arranged for a friend to come over to play and then walked home.

Not until I had gotten through the door, taken off my shoes and started looking for my purse did I realize I had left the car at the school.

D'OH!!!

The worst part...this is the third time I've done this!

Thankful????

Does this dinner look that disgusting? Okay maybe...

Anyway, this is what we had for dinner tonight. Tim started saying a blessing on the food and when he got to, "we're thankful for this food," he started snickering and the giggles extended to the rest of the table (myself excluded-I didn't get the joke). Apparently my boys thought the meal I labored on looked awful and were having a difficult time being serious about being thankful for it.

Food review after actually ingesting:
"Thanks Mom! That was really good."
"Mmmm! I like the chicken, can I have more?"

Phew! I'm not so bad a cook afterall.

Amy's First Day

Yesterday was my first day of classes at Wellesley. It's a bit crazy because my kids don't start school until two days after me and Zac. Luckily, I have some awesome neighbors who helped me out. Anywhooooo...my first class was Astronomy. So far so good. I also got myself auditioned and signed up for piano lessons. Yay! I'm really excited. Today I had French and totally went to the wrong room (oops). Eventually I found the right place and walked in all cool like. Ha! What fun!

I have to write about girls camp still so stay posted...I'll get to it eventually.
