Spot On!

"There is a drowsy, heavy state, between sleeping and waking, when you dream more in five minutes with your eyes half open, and yourself half conscious of everything that is passing around you, than you would in five nights with your eyes fast closed, and your senses wrapt in perfect unconsciousness."

- Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist

I feel this way every morning. I always seem to get the best sleep just as it is time to arise. I've never truly appreciated Dickens until now. He gets me.

I'm glad Dickens gets you. I get Dickens.... after about 50 pages. I really do enjoy reading his work, but it takes me a while to get used to his writing.
